My good friend and fellow Isaac Dickson parent, Matt Buys of Greenleaf Circle Productions, and I filmed the course in early October. Granted, the leaves are still on the trees and there isn't a snowflake in sight (or mile marker!) but we hope to give you a taste of how AWESOME this course really is! PLEASE NOTE: The 2011 course was modified slightly to accomodate for our new USATF course certification, in that the start and finish locations are not exactly as shown in the video or on the course map. A USATF-certified course is a road race course whose distance has been certified for accuracy. Courses must be certified for any road running performance to be accepted as a record or to be nationally ranked. Furthermore, running a race on a certified course allows you to accurately compare your time to performances run on other certified courses because you can be sure the distances were the same. No one can truly establish a personal best if the course distance is not accurate.
